ur platform requires the use of SSL certificates with your custom domain, enabling access via a secure HTTPS connection.

HTTPS is required for Connections to Google, OneDrive, DropBox etc. In addition, any interactions with our APIs are secured by access over HTTPS.

We are now integrated with Let's Encrypt and hence all WaaS security certificates are now auto-generated by the our Platform.

Generate an SSL Certificate

Once you have set up your Custom Domain you can add an SSL certificate by navigating to the left side menu
Platform & Billing >Branding Center> Site Branding.

Under Site Branding, you need to simply click on Generate SSL Certificate which will generate and install the certificate onto the server.

Once you have done the above please ensure that you have set up API keys for required connections under the Site Integrations page. Then please inform our Support Team and they will restart the server instance and activate the HTTPS option on your Website as a Service subscription.

Note, that our automatic certificates only apply to WaaS sub-domains.  You'll still need to provide SSL certs to other external services - e.g. your marketing website host.

Renewal of SSL Certificates

You do not have to worry about renewing your SSL Certificate anymore as this will be handled automatically by our Platform.
Your SSL certificate will get auto-generated 2 weeks before the expiry for your domain and will get auto-renewed every 3 months.

FAQs

Below are some commonly asked questions.

Q: Will there be any cost involved with the SSL certificates generated by Let's Encrypt.
No. There is no cost involved with the Let's Encrypt SSL certificates. Our platform will ensure all branded portals have valid HTTPS connectivity, saving you time and money.

Q: Would these certificates apply to Private Server clients as well?
No. The Auto-renewal of SSL certificates is still not available to Server Clients.

You'll still need to supply a new SSL for all Private Servers.

Our developers are still currently looking into implementing such a feature for Private Servers sometime in the future.
