A screen's title bar is a constant found at the top of every screen, informing the user of the screen they're viewing and providing a default, but customizable, navigation for completing a form. Coupled with a few unique properties not found on basic or advanced fields, like displaying page names as tabs and controlling the size of captured images.
When viewing a form' design, left-click the title bar to bring up it's properties on the right.
Basic Properties
Screen Title | The screen title/name visible in-app. |
Display Page Names Tab | Displays all available pages as tab buttons on the top of the screen. This can provide faster page navigation to users, though can be confusing in more dynamic scenarios when pages are conditionally visible. |
Only Display Tabs to Current Step *This option will only pop into view if you have ticked the checkbox to enable "Display Page Name Tabs" | If the "Only Display Tabs to Current Step" option is enabled, then only tabs up to the page containing the current process step will be displayed. If the option to "Only Display Tabs to Current Step" is NOT selected, then tabs for all visible pages will be shown, and users will be able to skip process steps. |
Resize images To | By default, the app will resize all images captured to a maximum of 800 pixels. If you require high-resolution images, use this option to override this default. |
Advanced Properties
Action Buttons | |
Enable Page Swiping | Enabling page swiping allows users to navigate to the next page by swiping left and to the previous page by swiping right. |
Allow Exit Without Confirm | When the user chooses to exit a Form entry without saving, the app confirms this decision with a second prompt to ensure the user does not mistakenly lose their progress. In some situations, this additional prompt is unnecessary and annoying to users, e.g., if this Form design is editing an existing Data Source row selected in a prior Screen. |
On Upload Interaction | Define the action applied when the Form Screen is Uploaded or Submitted. |
